At Florexotica, we believe floral design is something to be experienced, explored and enjoyed. Our Floral Academy offers two ways to discover the art of working with flowers, whether you're looking for a relaxed, creative experience or hoping to develop your skills to a professional level.

From hands-on workshops where you choose your own blooms to guided floral classes designed to build technique and confidence, every experience is led by our expert florists and rooted in a love of flowers.

Floral Workshops

Our workshops are all about enjoying the process, getting creative and discovering what you can make with flowers.

Choose from the blooms available on the day, experiment with different colours and textures, and create your own bouquet or arrangement with the guidance of an experienced Florexotica florist. Whether you have a clear idea in mind or simply want to see where your creativity takes you, we'll be there to offer tips, encouragement and a helping hand.

There's no pressure to get it perfect and no experience needed. Just good flowers, a little inspiration and the pleasure of making something yourself.

A workshop that works around you

You choose the flowers and the quantity, and the cost is based on your selection. This gives you the freedom to create something simple or go all out with your favourite blooms, with expert guidance throughout.

Perfect for a fun outing with friends, birthdays, celebrations, team days or yacht crews looking for a creative experience together. Private group workshops are also available.

Professional Floral Classes

Learn the techniques behind the design.

For those looking to take their floral skills further, our professional classes offer a more structured, hands-on approach to floral design.

Designed with yacht stews, aspiring florists and anyone interested in pursuing floristry as a career in mind, each class focuses on a specific arrangement or bouquet. You'll be provided with a carefully selected bucket of flowers, chosen for the design you'll be learning to create, along with all the tools and materials needed.

Led by an expert Florexotica florist, you'll be guided through the process step by step, learning about flower preparation, placement, balance, colour, form and the techniques that bring a design together. You'll have the opportunity to practise, ask questions and build confidence with professional guidance throughout.

Unlike our open-choice workshops, each class follows a set design and has a fixed price, so you know exactly what is included before you begin.
